  • Role Description

    • Contractual – 2 years (extension based on performance)
    • Office Location – Mumbai/Ahmedabad (in Ahmedabad during the IPL)
  • Qualification:

    • Experience over 5 years in product management.
    • End-to-end app and website management as part of previous experience is a must.
    • Should have handled a Customer Data Platform in one or more of the previous roles.
    • Should have an understanding of product content and experiences that a sports fan may like to engage with.
    • A knack for reading, analyzing and representing data will be a handful in this role, as it involves studying first-party data.
    • Comfortable with the usual Microsoft documents to carry out analysis and create reports is necessary.
    • A fair knowledge of how tech development works and the challenges that usually crop up will be an aid.
    • Clear in communication both with internal as well as external teams.
    • An out-and-out team player mind-set is a must, as we work for a sports team and the culture is built on such morals.
  • Key Responsibility Areas

    • Secure a thorough understanding of GT’s first-party database and create segments with the help of a CDP to target them with relevant communication.
    • Touchbase regularly with the CDP to receive relevant insights and reports based on audience behaviour and demographics.
    • Come up with engaging features on GT’s app and website to keep fans engaged during the season and off-season.
    • Ensure the GT app is user-friendly to use and bug-free so that fans can have a seamless and interactive experience.
    • Monitor app and website performance on a regular basis to be updated on all the key metrics such as installs, DAUs, downloads, monthly sign-ups, engagements and more.
    • Liaise with GT’s app and web development and management partners to get timely content uploaded on the products and keep track of engagements.
    • Own the operations, performance and user experience of the GT Rewards program. Work closely with the team that runs the back-end. Keep it active throughout the year by constantly looking out for new redemption opportunities. Ensure the reward fulfilment process is seamless.
    • Work closely with the WhatsApp bot service provider to keep existing users engaged and also come up with initiatives to capture more users via the platform.
    • Cull out key numbers and analyse them to derive insights for reports as well as future learnings.
    • Support other GT functions to have the right kind of visibility and user experience on GT’s products.
    • Assist the digital lead in media campaigns directed towards acquiring new first-party data or app/web registrations.
    • Review and share feedback/suggestions for all product-related promotional content that goes up on the social media pages.
    • Be open to supporting any requirement under the digital function.
