After a short break, our Titans will be eyeing a playoff berth when we square off against Delhi Capitals (DC) in a crucial TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 clash at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Sunday. The evening game will start at 7:30 PM IST.

The match was earlier scheduled to be held on May 11 but was later postponed after the BCCI suspended the tournament for one week due to cross-border tensions between India and Pakistan.

Led by our talismanic captain Shubman Gill, we have been one of the most dominant teams in the TATA IPL 2025.

With 16 points from 11 games, we are currently placed at the top of the TATA IPL 2025 standings with eight wins and three losses.

A win over DC on Sunday will confirm our spot in the TATA IPL 2025 playoffs. Furthermore, it will solidify our chances to finish in the top-two, which further guarantees a second chance in the playoffs.

Earlier in the season, we registered a commanding seven-wicket victory against the Capitals at our fortress, the Narendra Modi Stadium.

Opting to bowl first, Prasidh Krishna bagged a four-wicket haul to help us restrict the Capitals to 203/8 in their 20 overs.

Apart from Prasidh, Sai Kishore, Ishant Sharma, Arshad Khan and Mohammed Siraj chipped in with one scalp each.

Later, Jos Buttler played a match-winning knock of an unbeaten 97, along with contributions from Sherfane Rutherford (43) and Sai Sudharsan (36) to guide us to a thumping win.

Meanwhile, Sai Su has been our leading run-scorer (509) in the TATA IPL 2025, just one run behind leader Suryakumar Yadav (510) of the Mumbai Indians.

Captain Gill (508 runs) and Buttler (500 runs) are also in the race for the Orange Cap.

In the bowling department, Prasidh is the current Purple Cap holder with 20 wickets in 11 matches.

Siraj (15 wickets) and Sai Kishore (14 wickets) have been other wicket-takers in the T20 tournament.
