It was an unforgettable day for our Titans family as we kicked off our TATA Indian Premier League 2026 journey in grand style with Shubharambh 2026, celebrating a new season and a story we’ve proudly built in a short span.

In just four seasons, we’ve gone from newcomers to a franchise driven by belief, discipline and an unbreakable bond with our fans. The evening brought our leadership, players and partners together, setting the tone for what lies ahead.

Our COO, Col. Arvinder Singh, opened the night with confidence and excitement, while Mandira Bedi kept the energy flowing as she hosted the event seamlessly.

Our Managing Director, Jinal Mehta and Director, Shaan Mehta later reflected on how far we’ve come as a franchise.

“We are a young franchise, but over the last four years, we’ve built a strong legacy. We’ve reached the finals twice and won the TATA IPL in our inaugural season. We see ourselves as a franchise that believes there is much more beyond the game itself. Fans are at the centre of everything we do and we aim to nurture this legacy and take it to greater heights,” said Jinal Mehta.

Echoing that sentiment, Shaan Mehta added, “GT is an emotion and the fans are at the centre of that. Without them, success would not hold the same meaning. That’s something we want to keep strengthening as we continue this journey.”

A proud moment followed as our talismanic captain, Shubman Gill, joined us on stage and was honoured as the BCCI Cricketer of the Year, a recognition earned for his stellar performances in the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy Test series in 2025. The memento stood as a testament to his growing stature, consistency and inspiring leadership.

The focus then shifted to the team’s cricketing vision, with our Head Coach Ashish Nehra and Director of Cricket Vikram Solanki sharing insights into the squad’s preparation and approach for the upcoming season.

We also celebrated our strong partnership with Aditya Birla Group Director, Ananya Birla, sharing her thoughts on the journey. As a token of appreciation, Gill presented her with a signed Titans’ TATA IPL 2026 jersey.

Then came the moment everyone was waiting for, the unveiling of our squad. Led by our skipper Gill, the GT Class of 2026 took the stage, ready to take on the season as we aim to clinch our second TATA IPL title.

The night continued with lively conversations featuring our Titans - Mohammed Siraj, Glenn Phillips, Kagiso Rabada, Prasidh Krishna and Rashid Khan, followed by another engaging session with Jos Buttler, Washington Sundar, Sai Sudharsan, Rahul Tewatia, and our new Batting Coach Matthew Hayden.

To conclude the night, we turned up the energy with an electrifying performance by Kinjal Dave, the Garba Queen from Ahmedabad, who truly lit up the stage. She was joined by the incredibly talented Bhoomi Trivedi, as they delivered a spectacular showcase of music and entertainment, bringing the celebrations to a memorable close.

As we step into TATA IPL 2026, Shubharambh 2026 wasn't just a launch, but it is a statement. We're here, stronger than ever, committed to our fans, our culture and the legacy we continue to build.
