Earlier, India’s young pacer Harshit Rana stole the limelight with three crucial wickets (3/65) to put the hosts in a great position.
Apart from Kuldeep and Harshit, left-arm fast bowler Arshdeep Singh took two scalps, while Gujarat Titans star pacer Prasidh Krishna bagged the huge wicket of Corbin Bosch to wrap up the visitors’ innings.
Meanwhile, the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium will be hosting its second ODI match.
With a seating capacity of over 50,000, Team India previously won the solitary ODI played at the venue, beating New Zealand by eight wickets in January 2023.
