Following their Asian Games gold-medal triumph, Team India will now welcome West Indies for a five-match T20I series on home soil. The Men in Blue will look to carry their winning momentum into the series and make a strong start against the Caribbean side.

This blockbuster series will get underway on October 6 at 7:00 PM IST, with the first T20I set to take place at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. The series will then move to Ranchi, Indore, Hyderabad and Bengaluru for the remaining four matches.

The Shreyas Iyer-led Indian side head into the series in spectacular form, having dominated Afghanistan and Zimbabwe and securing series whitewashes. The top order featuring Sanju Samson, Abhishek Sharma and Ishan Kishan has been firing on all cylinders, while the resurgence of Shreyas Iyer and Tilak Varma has added further stability to the batting unit.

India's bowling attack is equally threatening, with Arshdeep Singh, Prince Yadav and Mayank Yadav leading the pace department, while Ravi Bishnoi, Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel provide plenty of variety in the spin attack.

The West Indies also boast a side packed with power hitters, featuring the likes of Shimron Hetmyer, Romario Shepherd, Sherfane Rutherford and Rovman Powell. The Caribbean side also head into the series on the back of a 2-1 T20I series win over Sri Lanka, adding further excitement to the contest.

With both sides carrying strong form into the series, fans can expect plenty of fireworks and nail-biting cricket throughout the five-match T20I series.
