Few fast bowlers dominate across formats quite like Kagiso Rabada. The South African speedster made his mark early, showcasing his fiery pace and bounce from the start. He announced himself in T20 cricket in 2014, delivering an impressive 3/12 on debut, and further turned heads in the Under-19 World Cup the same year with 14 wickets, including a sensational 6-wicket haul against Australia.
Rabada’s rise continued in 2015, when he made his ODI debut in unforgettable fashion, claiming a hat-trick and finishing with 6/16, the second-best figures by a debutant in ODIs. Just a year later, he became the youngest South African to take a 10-wicket haul in Test cricket, cementing his place among the world’s elite fast bowlers.
In T20Is, Rabada also etched his name in the record books as the first South African to take a hat-trick. His IPL pedigree is just as impressive, most notably in IPL 2020, when he claimed the Purple Cap with 30 wickets for Delhi Capitals.
A proven match-winner with serious pace in his arsenal, Rabada has been retained by Gujarat Titans for INR 10.75 crore and will once again spearhead the Titans’ attack in IPL 2026.
