Titans aim to seal top two finish against Chennai Super Kings

Our Titans have stormed into the playoffs after delivering excellent performances across all departments throughout the TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 campaign. With eight wins under our belt, our boys will now look to secure a top-two finish in the upcoming fixture.
For the final group-stage fixture of the season, our Titans will host the Chennai Super Kings at home, the Narendra Modi Stadium, on May 21 at 7:30 PM IST.
Our Titans have built strong momentum at Ahmedabad, securing three consecutive wins at home. With the playoffs approaching, we aim to end the group stage on a winning note and carry that confidence into the playoffs.
Reflecting on our previous contest against the Kolkata Knight Riders, our bowling attack endured a tough day on the field as Finn Allen's 93 off 35 and Angkrish Raghuvanshi's 82* off 44 powered KKR to 247/2 in 20 overs.
In the chase, our batters responded with intent and put up a valiant effort. But the boys eventually fell short by 29 runs. Skipper Shubman Gill led from the front and set the tone for the chase. He was the top run-getter for the side after scoring 85 off 49.
Sai Su and Jos the Boss kept us in the hunt, notching up half-centuries. Sudharsan remained unbeaten on 53 off 28, and Buttler scored 57 off 35 as our boys finished on 218/4 in 20 overs.
As we head into this matchup against Chennai Super Kings, our batting unit is in excellent form, with Sai Su and Gill delivering sensational performances and remaining among the frontrunners to win the Orange Cap. Our bowlers have been equally impressive, especially in home conditions, with Rabada and Rashid Khan also in contention for the Purple Cap.
This rivalry against Chennai Super Kings has produced several memorable moments for our Titans. Earlier this season, our boys secured a convincing eight-wicket win over CSK, powered by brilliant contributions from Sai Sudharsan and Kagiso Rabada.
