Retain and Reign - IPL 2026 Retention Contest - Terms and Conditions
The Contest
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) are with reference to your participation in the ‘GT Retention Contest – Retain and Reign’ (“Contest”). The Contest is organized by Irelia Sports India Private Limited (“ISIPL”), the owner and operator of the Gujarat Titans professional twenty20 cricket team (“Gujarat Titans” or “GT”). The Contest is offered by ISIPL on GT’s TitansFAM App and GT’s official website located at https://www.gujarattitansipl.com/ (collectively, the “Platform”).
For the purpose of these Terms, “you” and “your” shall mean any individual who wishes to participate in the Contest. Joining the Contest in the manner provided under clause 2 hereinbelow or acceptance of a Prize in the manner provided under clause 4 hereinbelow, shall constitute unconditional and unequivocal acceptance of these Terms.
Submission Guidelines
Any person above 13 years of age and residing in India may enter the Contest (“Participant”)on their own behalf only. Where any person between the ages of 13-18 seeks to participate in the Contest, such person shall require the consent of his/her parent/legal guardian and upon such person Joining the Contest, such consent shall be deemed to have been obtained by such person from his/her parent/legal guardian. ISIPL reserves the right to demand proof from any individual, of their age and residence and in respect of individuals between the ages of 13-18, proof of consent from their parent/legal guardian for participation in the Contest. Where the above demand is not met, the individual in question will be disqualified from the Contest.
No participation by proxy will be allowed.
Only individuals who have a ‘User Account’ on the Platform (“Account”) shall be eligible to participate in the Contest (“Eligible Individuals”).
To participate in the Contest, Eligible Individuals are required to sign into the Platform, and submit their prediction of which members of the GT squad from the 2025 edition of the Indian Premier League (“IPL”) shall be retained by GT (“Retained Players”) for the upcoming season of the IPL in 2026 (“Submissions”). It is clarified that the minimum and maximum limits of a Participant’s predictions through a Submission shall be communicated at a later date.
A Submission from an Eligible Individual constitutes the Eligible Individual’s official entry into the Contest(“Joining”).
Each Participant may submit a maximum of one (1) Submission for the Contest and may review and edit their Submission before final submission. It is clarified that once a Submission is submitted by a Participant, it shall constitute the final Submission, after which the Participant may not revise their answer.
Opening and Closing Date
The Contest’s opening time and closing time:
Opening time: November 6, 2025 at 12:00 AM IST; and
Closing time shall be the date on which ISIPL officially announces the Retained Players of the GT team for the 2026 season of the Indian Premier League (“IPL 2026”).
You will not be eligible to participate in the Contest once the deadline lapses, i.e., once the Contest closes as set out under clause 3.1(b) above.
ISIPL shall not accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other issues which may result from your Account not being properly registered on the Platforms or deregistered for whatsoever reason.
Prize
Submissions will be judged on whether the Participants have correctly predicted the Retained Players. You acknowledge and agree that the decision of ISIPL on the correctness and validity of the answers provided shall be final and binding. No complaints, disputes or objections regarding the selection of Winners (as defined below) or any other aspect of the Contest will be entertained.
Participant selected as Winners shall stand a chance to win the following prizes (each a “Prize”):
A total of: (i) two (2) hospitality tickets to one (1) GT home match (as determined by ISIPL, at its sole discretion) at GT’s home stadium during IPL 2026; (ii) one (1) official GT jersey signed by a GT player; and (iii) one GT cap signed by a GT player, for one (1) Winner selected in the manner specified below;
One (1) official GT navy blue jersey signed by a GT player, for two (2) Winners selected in the manner specified below; and
One (1) Mini-bat signed by a GT player, for two (2) Winners selected in the manner specified below.
No more than five (5) Participants who predict the highest number of Retained Players correctly in their Submissions relative to other Participants shall stand a chance to be selected as winners of the Contest (“Winners”) in the manner specified below.
Accordingly, Participants who have predicted all Retained Players correctly shall be entered into an eligibility pool of Participants for the five (5) designated Prizes (“FirstPrize Pool”). From among the Participants that have been entered into the First Prize Pool, the Winners of the Prizes will be determined through a computerized randomiser tool (“Randomiser”). The Randomiser will select five (5) Participants as Winners and each Winner shall receive one (1) Prize. In the event that less than five (5) Participants have predicted all Retained Players correctly, the Participants who have predicted the next highest number of Retained Players correctly relative to other Participants (other than Participants that have predicted all Retained Players correctly) shall be entered into a second eligibility pool of Participants for the number of remaining designated Prizes (“SecondPrize Pool”), and from among the Participants that have been entered into the Second Prize Pool, the Randomiser will select the remaining Winners of the Prizes (after the determination of Winners from the First Prize Pool), and each such Winner shall receive one (1) Prize. In the event that no Participant has predicted all Retained Players correctly, the Participants who have predicted the next highest number of Retained Players correctly relative to other Participants shall be entered into a third eligibility pool of Participants for the number of remaining designated Prizes (“Third Prize Pool”), and from among the Participants that have been entered into the Third Prize Pool, the Randomiser will select the Winners of the Prizes, and each such Winner shall receive one (1) Prize. In the event that there are less than five (5) Participants in the Third Prize Pool as well, the process for selection of Participants by the Randomiser shall continue in the same manner as the Second Prize Pool until five (5) Winners are selected by the Randomiser. You acknowledge and agree that the results of the computerised randomised selection are final and binding with respect to all Submissions and the Participants.
It is clarified that the Randomiser shall select the Recipients for the Prizes listed in clause 4.2 above.
Each Participant adjudged Winner will be required to complete such steps as reasonably required by ISIPL to validate his/her victory and received the Prize.
The Prizes awarded under these Terms shall be distributed to the respective Winners after the completion of the Contest. Information pertaining to location, venue and the time to collect the Prize shall be intimated to each Winner on the mobile number associated with their Account.
Any Participant between the ages of 13-18 winning the Contest shall not be entitled to the Prize unless he/she is represented by the parent/guardian, and such parent/guardian completes all necessary formalities on his/her behalf.
ISIPL reserves the right to substitute any Prize with another without providing any notice.
A Participant adjudged a Winner may be required to submit a video testimonial (“Testimonial”), as requested by ISIPL, at no additional cost or charge to ISIPL.
Any costs incurred for availing/using the Prize (for example, travel costs to watch the GT match) shall be to the account of and borne wholly by the Participant.
The utilisation of the tickets will be governed by any ticketing terms and conditions applicable to IPL 2026.
Legal
Intellectual Property/Third Party Rights: By submitting any content on the Platform or otherwise to ISIPL, you agree to grant ISIPL a royalty-free, world-wide, non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable and assignable right to use, copy, reproduce, modify, adapt, edit, translate, create derivative works from, transmit, and share your content and to otherwise use such content. Such content may include, without limitation, your name, username, location, the Submission, and the Testimonial. You further agree and acknowledge that ISIPL has the right to use in any manner whatsoever, all communication or feedback provided by you. The Winners must, at the request of ISIPL, participate in all promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of the Prize, free of charge, and they consent to ISIPL using their name, likeness and image in all promotional activities undertaken by ISIPL.
Indemnification: You hereby agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless ISIPL from and against all liability and costs incurred in connection with any claims arising out of or relating to: (i) your failure to comply with any terms and conditions prescribed by ISIPL by which you are bound; (ii) any breach of a third party’s rights of any nature by you; (iii) any breach of applicable law by you; or (iv) any acts or omissions on your part in bad faith.
Waiver: Your participation in the Contest is at your own risk and strictly in accordance with these Terms. ISIPL bears no responsibility for any loss or damage incurred as a result of your participation in the Contest, and you waive any claims against ISIPL in relation thereto.
Breach of Terms: Any breach of these Terms and/or the Platform Terms and Conditions located at https://www.gujarattitansipl.com/terms-and-conditions (“Platform Terms”) will automatically void your participation in the Contest. If a breach of any of the Platform Terms and/or these Terms set forth herein is discovered after the award of the Prize, then ISIPL has the right to cancel such Prize awarded to you/require the refund of the value of the Prize awarded to you (at ISIPL’s discretion), and you agree to refund the value of the Prize (as required by ISIPL).
Disclaimer: You acknowledge and agree that:
ISIPL shall neither be liable nor responsible for any actions or inactions of any third party and hereby expressly disclaims any and all responsibility and liability in that regard.
ISIPL shall neither be liable nor responsible for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any Participant as a result of entering the Contest or accepting the Prize or taking the benefit of the Prize or any injury to the Participant or any damage to the Participant's or any other person’s personal property including but not limited to a computer or mobile phone relating to or resulting from participation in the Contest.
The Contest is subject to Force Majeure Events (as defined herein). A “Force Majeure Event” shall mean any event beyond the reasonable control of ISIPL, including without limitation, strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action, hostilities, terrorist action or the threat thereof, civil commotion or disturbances, disruption due to general or local elections, invasion, riots, war, threat or preparation for war, fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, epidemic, pandemic, any act of God and any legislation, regulation, order, notification or ruling of any government, court or other such competent authority or authority for the sport of cricket, including without limitation IPL, BCCI, ICC or any committee thereof. ISIPL shall not be liable for any delay or adverse effect caused to Participants as a result of a Force Majeure Event, e.g., suspension of the Contest, denying Participants the opportunity to take benefit of the Prize, etc.
The Prize is personal to the Winners and is not transferrable and cannot be sold under any circumstances.
No Prize will be awarded if the information furnished by the Participant at the time of entering the Contest, or at any subsequent stage is factually incorrect.
In the event a winning Participant does not acknowledge/accept/collect his/her Prize/complete the required formalities within the timeline stated by ISIPL, such Participant shall forfeit the Prize being awarded, and ISIPL shall have the right to award the same Prize(s) to other Participant(s).
You are aware that participation in the Contest does not guarantee a Prize to you.
Only the Participant who submits a Submission through the Account shall be eligible to be selected as a Winner. No other person shall be entitled to win or claim the Prize.
All collection, storage, use and disclosure of any personal information provided by you to ISIPL will be in accordance with ISIPL’s privacy policy available at: https://www.gujarattitansipl.com/privacy-policy.
Promotional Communication: You hereby agree to receive promotional and marketing communication including but not limited to email communication/newsletters, WhatsApp messages, mobile SMS, call etc. from ISIPL from time to time. You further expressly waive Do Not Call (DNC)/ Do Not Disturb (DND) registrations on your phone/mobile numbers for contacting you for such promotional/marketing purposes.
General ISIPL reserves, at its discretion, the right to: (i) vary these Terms without notice, including but not limited to the opening and closing times for Joining; (ii) withdraw, vary or substitute the Prize associated with the Contest; (iii) disqualify any entrant who breaches the Platform Terms and/or these Terms or has acted fraudulently; or (iv) cancel the Contest at any stage.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction The Contest shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Indian laws. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Contest and/or your participation in the Contest will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ahmedabad, India.
