India's white-ball campaign continues with a challenging five-match T20I series against England, beginning on July 1 and running until July 11. The Men in Blue will then stay on for a three-match ODI series as they look to bounce back strongly after a 2-0 T20I series defeat in Ireland.

The opening T20I will be played at the Riverside Ground in Chester-le-Street, with the action set to begin at 10:00 PM IST. The series presents India with an opportunity to regain momentum against one of the world's strongest T20I sides in their own backyard.

Shreyas Iyer will captain India in the shortest format, while Tilak Varma has been named vice-captain for the tour. The visitors will be eager to make a statement and register their first away T20I series win since November 2025.

For us at Gujarat Titans, there will be plenty to cheer about with Washington Sundar and Prasidh Krishna representing India.

Washington continues to be a dependable all-rounder in the T20I setup, having claimed 51 wickets in 61 matches, while also standing just 26 runs away from completing 300 T20I runs for India. Prasidh, meanwhile, adds pace and bounce to the attack and has picked up eight wickets in six T20I appearances for the national side.

England, led by Harry Brook, boast a formidable squad of their own. From the Gujarat Titans family, explosive wicketkeeper-batter Jos Buttler will be aiming to make an impact for the hosts, while left-arm seamer Luke Wood also features in the England squad.

With both teams packed with firepower and eager to build momentum ahead of a busy white-ball season, fans can expect an exciting contest.

India will be determined to put the disappointment of the Ireland series behind them and begin the England tour on a winning note, while our Titans stars on both sides will look to leave their mark throughout the series.
