Some Test matches stay with you long after the final ball, and the first Test against Sri Lanka at the Galle International Cricket Stadium was certainly one to remember for us at Gujarat Titans.

At the heart of India’s impressive 165-run victory was Manav Suthar, who delivered a stunning performance in just his second Test, finishing with 10 wickets. His match haul, combined with impactful performances from fellow GT players Mohammed Siraj and Prasidh Krishna, made it a particularly special outing for the Titans contingent.

Manav began with four wickets in the first innings, maintaining discipline, building pressure and making the most of the conditions. He took his performance to another level in the second innings, claiming six wickets to complete his 10-wicket match haul and play a key role in India’s march to victory.

With 17 wickets from his first two Tests, Manav has made an impressive start to his international career. His ability to stay patient, adapt to conditions and deliver when his team needs him most is something we’re immensely proud of.

Mohammed Siraj also made a valuable contribution with two wickets, while Prasidh Krishna picked up three wickets in the match, adding to the impact of our players across India’s bowling attack.

The victory was even more significant for India captain Shubman Gill, who clinched his first Test win in Sri Lanka as captain of the Indian team. His leadership, along with the collective effort from the squad, helped India complete a memorable victory in Galle.

For us at Gujarat Titans, seeing our players make decisive contributions on the international stage is a source of immense pride. We’ve always believed in backing our players and giving them the confidence to express themselves and performances like these make that belief even more rewarding.
