The TATA Indian Premier League 2026 season may not have ended with the trophy in our hands, but it was a campaign that showcased our consistency, character and excellence.
Our journey to the final was built on collective effort, standout performances and an unwavering belief in our ability to compete with the very best. Along the way, several Titans rose to the occasion and delivered seasons to remember.
When the pressure was at its highest, Kagiso Rabada stood tallest.
The South African quick enjoyed a sensational campaign, claiming 29 wickets to finish as the tournament's highest wicket-taker and earn the Purple Cap. Whether with the new ball or at the death, Rabada consistently delivered breakthroughs when we needed them most.
His ability to shift momentum, dismantle batting line-ups and thrive under pressure made him one of the defining performers of the season. Time and again, he provided the spark that helped drive us to the final.
Our captain amassed 732 runs in 16 matches, including a century and six half-centuries, producing one commanding performance after another. His consistency at the top of the order gave us strong starts throughout the season, while his calm leadership helped steer the team through crucial moments.
Alongside Gill, Sai Sudharsan continued his rise as one of the league's premier opening batters.
The left-hander scored 722 runs in 17 matches, registering a century and eight half-centuries in a remarkable season. He went on to notch up the most number of fifties this season. Reliable, composed and immensely productive, Sai Su played a pivotal role in laying the foundation for many of our victories.
Together, Gill and Sudharsan formed one of the most prolific opening partnerships of the season, consistently putting opposition attacks under pressure and providing the platform for our batting unit to flourish.
While individual brilliance lit up our campaign, our run to the TATA IPL 2026 Final was a testament to the strength of the entire squad.
Every player contributed when called upon, helping us navigate challenges and maintain the consistency that has become synonymous with Gujarat Titans. We adapted, responded and found ways to win, earning our place in the season's biggest match.
Though we fell short of the ultimate prize, we leave the season with immense pride. A Purple Cap winner, two batters with more than 700 runs and another appearance in the TATA IPL Final reflect the standards we continue to set.
