The last time we met RCB, Sai Su lit up Chinnaswamy with a magnificent century, laced with 11 fours and five sixes. He will look to continue his brilliant form on Thursday.
After a dominant victory in Chennai, our Titans are back home as we welcome Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in our upcoming TATA IPL 2026 clash at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Thursday, April 30. The highly-anticipated GT vs RCB clash will start at 7:30 PM IST.
Led by our talismanic captain Shubman Gill, our Titans will head into the crucial game brimming with confidence after delivering an all-round performance to register an eight-wicket win against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Sunday.
Our South African speedster Kagiso Rabada led the charge with three wickets, while Arshad Khan bagged two important scalps as we restricted CSK to 158/7. Apart from Rabada and Arshad, Mohammed Siraj and Manav Suthar chipped in with a wicket each.
In reply, our ever-dependable openers Sai Su and Gill made batting look easy on a tricky surface, as our stylish duo played with positive intent to set the tone early in the Powerplay.
After Gill's dismissal, Sudharsan (87) and Buttler (39) later forged a match-winning partnership to help us chase down the target in just 16.4 overs.
With our previous win behind us, we have now set our sights on the upcoming clash against the defending champions at Gujaratno Gadh, aiming to carry forward the winning momentum.
Interestingly, Sai Su was our standout performer the last time we met RCB, scoring a sensational 100. His magnificent knock included 11 fours and five sixes.
With eight points from eight games, our Titans will be looking to bag two crucial points on Thursday as we seek to strengthen our TATA IPL 2026 playoffs bid. Aava De, Titans!
