Titans unite for the fight against cancer in lavender jersey ahead of SRH clash
For the fourth consecutive year, we will wear special lavender jerseys in our upcoming home game against SRH to continue the fight against cancer.

For us, this game is about more than just cricket. As we prepare to face Sunrisers Hyderabad in the TATA IPL 2026 at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Tuesday, May 12, we will once again take the field in our special lavender jerseys to support the fight against cancer.
This will be the fourth consecutive year that we wear the lavender jersey, standing in solidarity with every fighter, survivor and family impacted by cancer. Through this initiative, we aim to spread awareness about the importance of early detection and access to quality care, while encouraging our Titans FAM to join us in this meaningful cause.
Led by Shubman Gill, we head into the clash full of confidence after registering our biggest-ever TATA IPL victory against Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur. Riding on four consecutive wins, we will now look to continue our momentum and strengthen our position in the playoffs race.
Our batting unit delivered collectively in the previous outing as Sai Sudharsan and Gill produced explosive knocks at the top before Washington Sundar and Rahul Tewatia finished strongly to help us post 229/4.
The bowlers then backed it up with a dominant performance. Miyan Siraj struck early before KG rattled the Royals’ top order in the powerplay. Rashid Khan and Jason Holder starred with the ball, sharing seven wickets between them to seal a memorable win.
With seven victories already this season and the home crowd behind us in Ahmedabad, we now aim to keep the winning streak alive against Hyderabad. Encouragingly, our skipper Gill has enjoyed tremendous success against SRH over the years, scoring 303 runs against them in Titans colours, including a century and two fifties.
As we step onto the field in lavender once again, we hope to not only deliver another strong performance but also inspire conversations that truly matter beyond the boundary ropes.
