India take on Ireland in a two-match T20I series in Belfast before travelling to England, with Gujarat Titans trio Washington Sundar and Prasidh Krishna featuring in the squad.
India's white ball season gathers momentum with a short but significant two-match T20I series against Ireland in Belfast. The Men in Blue will take on Ireland at the Stormont Cricket Ground on June 26 and June 28, 2026, before travelling to England for a busy white-ball assignment.
Led by Shreyas Iyer, India will look to fine-tune their combinations and build momentum ahead of the England tour. The series also presents an opportunity for several players to make a strong statement in Indian colours.
From a Gujarat Titans perspective, we will be proudly represented by Washington Sundar and Prasidh Krishna in the Indian squad. Having played pivotal roles for us with both bat and ball, the duo will now be aiming to carry their form onto the international stage.
Washington Sundar brings invaluable balance to the Indian side with his all-round prowess. Our Titan has picked up 51 wickets in 60 T20I appearances and is just 35 runs away from reaching the 300-run milestone in the format for India.
Prasidh's ability to generate bounce and maintain accuracy makes him a key weapon both with the new ball and through the middle overs. Having bagged eight wickets in five T20Is so far, our pace ace will be eager to add to his tally during the Ireland series.
However, Ireland have consistently shown their ability to challenge higher-ranked teams in home conditions and will be eager to test India in front of their supporters.
With two competitive fixtures on offer and an important tour of England looming, the Ireland series provides India with the ideal platform to sharpen their preparations. As always, we will be keeping a close eye on Washington and Prasidh as they look to make their mark in Belfast.
