Led by our talismanic captain Shubman Gill, our Titans have one foot in the Playoffs and are currently placed second on the TATA IPL 2026 standings with 16 points from 12 games.

A win over KKR on Saturday will not only confirm our spot in the TATA IPL 2026 Playoffs, but it will also solidify our chances to finish in the top-two, which further guarantees a second chance in the Playoffs.

Heading into this contest, our Titans are high on confidence after securing a record-breaking win against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at Gujaratno Gadh on Tuesday.

Looking back at our clash against the SRH, our Titans took the field for a bigger cause, wearing the lavender jersey to support the fight against cancer. The night became even more special as we recorded our biggest win in terms of runs (82) in the TATA IPL.

In what was a clinical all-round performance from our Titans, Mr. Consistent, Sai Sudharsan set the tone for the innings as he carried forward his rich form with a classy 61 off 44. Alongside Sai Su, Washi scored a terrific half-century, while Nishant Sindhu’s cameo of 22 off 14 helped us post a solid total of 168.

Later, our bowling attack ran through the SRH batting line-up with a fiery display of pace and precision, bowling them out for just 86. Jason Holder and Kagiso Rabada starred with three wickets each, while Skiddy picked up two. DSP Siraj also struck early with the crucial wicket of Travis Head.

With 501 runs in 12 games, Sai Su has been consistent throughout the campaign and enjoyed great success so far. His stellar form leaves us excited for what lies ahead.

Speaking of the GT vs KKR rivalry, our captain Shubman Gill starred the last time we faced KKR, smashing a brilliant 86 off 50 to guide us to a comfortable chase. With both our openers in sublime form, we will be eagerly awaiting more fireworks in the City of Joy.

Apart from leading our Titans brilliantly on the field, Shubman has also been making waves on social media with his witty Instagram posts. The skipper’s playful banter and clever captions have quickly become a fan favourite, leaving everyone eagerly waiting for his next upload.
