Referral Contest - Terms and Conditions | IPL 2026
The Contest
These terms and conditions ("Terms") are with reference to your
participation in the GT Referral Contest ("Contest"). The Contest is being
organized by Torrent Gujarat Titans Private Limited (formerly Irelia Sports India Private
Limited)
("TGTPL"), the owner and operator of the Gujarat Titans professional
twenty20 cricket team ("Gujarat Titans" or
"GT"). GT is offering the Contest on GT's official mobile application
'TitansFAM' and GT's official website located at https://www.gujarattitansipl.com/
(collectively the "Platform").
For the purpose of these Terms, "you" and "your" shall mean any individual who
wishes to participate in the Contest. By Joining the Contest or acceptance of a Prizein the
manner
provided under Paragraph 2 hereinbelow, you unconditionally and unequivocally accept these
Terms.
Submission Guidelines
Any person above 13 years of age and residing in India may enter the Contest
("Participant") on their own behalf only. Where any person between the age
of 13-18 years seeks to participate in the Contest, such person shall require the consent of
their
parent/legal guardian and upon such person Joining the Contest, such consent shall be deemed
to have
been obtained by such person from their parent/legal guardian.
No participation by proxy will be allowed.
In order to participate in the Contest, you will need to login to your 'User Account' on the
Platform ("Account") through your existing credentials if you are already a
registered user on the Platform, and if you are a new or unregistered user on the Platform,
you will be
required to register and create an Account, for which purpose you may be required to provide
such
information as specified in the Platform Terms (as defined below) which may include without
limitation
your full name, date of birth, state and city of residence, pin code, gender, as well as a
valid email
address and mobile number.
Once you have logged in to your Account, you will be required to click on the GT Rewards
banner
available within the Fan Zone banner available on the 'Home' page of the Platform. Within
the GT Rewards banner, you will find the unique membership number that has been assigned to
your Account
upon the successful creation and registration of your Account on the Platform. Your
membership number
will serve as your referral number ("your Referral Number"), which you can
share with your family, friends or other personal connections. Such personal connections can
use and
enter your Referral Number when registering and creating their Account on the Platform. Once
there is a
"valid referral" by you, you will be officially entered into the Contest
("Joining" or "Join"). In order to qualify as
a "valid referral" for the purposes of the Contest, the referee with whom you have shared
your Referral Number must: (i) not have an existing Account and must successfully register
and create a
new Account using your Referral Number; and (ii) thereafter successfully login to their
Account. TGTPL
may, at its discretion, disqualify your Joining if it deems any entry or registration
fraudulent,
suspicious, duplicated, or a self-referral.
Opening and Closing Date
The Contest' shall open on May 22, 2026 at 12:00 AM IST and close on May 31, 2026 at 11:59
PM IST.
You will not be eligible to participate in the Contest once the deadline lapses, i.e., once
the Contest
closes as set out under sub-clause a above.
TGTPL shall not accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or
malfunction or any
other issues which may result from your Account not being properly registered on the
Platform or
deregistered for whatsoever reason.
Prize
Winners of the Contest ("Winners") will be selected randomly using a
computerized randomizer tool from all eligible entries received.
There will be a maximum of five (5) Winners in the Contest and the Participants adjudged
Winners shall
be contacted by TGTPl on the mobile number or email address associated with the Account of
the Winner.
Each Participant adjudged a Winner will be required to complete such steps as reasonably
required by
TGTPL to validate their victory and award the Prize (as defined below).
The prize for each Participant adjudged a Winner ("Prize") will be a
maximum of one (1) full-sized cricket bat autographed by the GT cricket team, on a best
effort basis.
The Prize for the Contest shall be distributed to the Winners upon the completion of the
Contest.
Information pertaining to location, venue and the time to collect the Prize shall be
intimated to each
Winner on the mobile number or email address associated with the Account of such Winner.
Any Participant between the age of 13 to 18 years winning the Contest shall not be entitled
to the Prize
unless they are represented by the parent/guardian, and such parent/guardian completes all
necessary
formalities on their behalf.
TGTPL reserves the right to substitute any Prize with another without providing any notice.
The Participant adjudged the Winner may be required to submit a video testimonial
("Testimonial"), as requested by TGTPL, at no additional cost or charge to
TGTPL.
Legal
Intellectual Property/Third Party Rights: By submitting any content on the
Platform or
otherwise to TGTPL, you agree to grant TGPTL a royalty-free, world-wide, non-exclusive,
perpetual and
assignable right to use, copy, reproduce, modify, adapt, edit, translate, create derivative
works from,
transmit, and share your content and to use such content. Such content may include, without
limitation,
your name, username, location, the Testimonial etc. You further agree and acknowledge that
TGTPL has the
right to use in any manner whatsoever, all communication or feedback provided by you. The
eligible
Winners must, at the request of ISIPL, participate in all promotional activity (such as
publicity and
photography) surrounding the winning of the Prize, free of charge, and they consent to TGTPL
using their
name, likeness and image in all promotional materials undertaken by TGTPL.
Indemnification: You hereby agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless
TGTPL from and
against all liability and costs incurred in connection with any claims arising out of or
relating to
your participation in the Contest, including but not limited to (i) your failure to comply
with any
terms and conditions prescribed by TGTPL by which you are bound; (ii) any breach of a third
party's rights of any nature by you; (iii) any breach of applicable law by you; or (iv) any
acts
or omissions on your part in bad faith.
Waiver: Your participation in the Contest and sharing of your Referral
Number with
others is at your own risk and strictly in accordance with these Terms. TGTPL bears no
responsibility
for any loss or damage incurred as a result of your participation in the Contest and/or
sharing of your
Referral Number with others, and you waive any claims against TGTPL in relation thereto.
Breach of Terms: Any breach of these Terms and/or the Platform Terms and
Conditions
located at https://www.gujarattitansipl.com/terms-and-conditions("Platform
Terms") will automatically void your participation in the Contest. If a breach
of any
of the Platform Terms and/or these Terms set forth herein is discovered after the award of
the Prize,
then TGTPL has the right to require the return of such Prize awarded to you/require the
refund of the
value of the Prize awarded to you (at TGTPL's discretion), and you agree to, return such
Prize/refund the value of the Prize (as required by TGTPL).
Disclaimer: You acknowledge and agree that:
Your Referral Number can only be shared for personal and non-commercial purposes and
cannot be
advertised, marketed, or shared in any manner for commercial purposes (such as,
without
limitation, on voucher websites, Reddit, blogs and mass emailing), and you shall
ensure
compliance with the same.
TGTPL shall neither be liable nor responsible for the inability or failure to
validate your
Referral Number entered into by any person while creating or registering their
Account on the
Platform and with whom you have shared your Referral Number, or the inability or
failure of any
person with whom you have shared your Referral Number to enter such Referral Number
while
creating or registering their Account on the Platform, or the use of your Referral
Number by any
person, for whatsoever reason.
TGTPL shall neither be liable nor responsible for any actions or inactions of any
third party
and hereby expressly disclaims any and all responsibility and liability in that
regard.
TGTPL shall neither be liable nor responsible for any damage, loss, injury or
disappointment
suffered by any Participant as a result of entering the Contest or accepting the
Prize or any
injury or damage to the Participant's or any other person's personal property
including but not
limited to a computer or mobile phone relating to or resulting from participation in
the
Contest.
The Prize is personal to the Winners and is not transferrable and cannot be sold
under any
circumstances.
No Prize will be awarded if the information furnished by the Participant at the time
of entering
the Contest, or at any subsequent stage is factually incorrect.
In the event a winning Participant does not acknowledge/accept/collect his/her Prize
within the
timeline stated by TGTPL, such Participant shall forfeit the Prize being awarded,
and Company
shall have the right to award the same Prize(s) to other Participant(s).
You are aware that participation in the Contest does not guarantee a Prize to you.
All collection, storage, use and disclosure of any information provided by you to
TGTPL will be
in accordance with TGTPL's privacy policy available at: https://www.gujarattitansipl.com/privacy-policy.
Promotional Communication: You hereby agree to receive promotional and
marketing
communication including but not limited to email communication/newsletters, WhatsApp
messages, mobile
SMS, call etc., from TGTPL from time to time. You further expressly waive Do Not Call (DNC)/
Do Not
Disturb (DND) registrations on your phone/mobile numbers for contacting you for such
promotional/marketing purposes.
General
TGTPL reserves, at its discretion, the right to: (i) vary these
Terms
without notice, including but not limited to the opening and closing times for Joining; (ii)
withdraw, vary or
substitute the Prize associated with the Contest; (iii) disqualify any entrant who breaches the
Platform Terms
and/or these Terms or has acted fraudulently; (iv) determine the eligibility to refer, eligibility
to be
referred and determination of whether the referral is valid or not for the purposes of the Contest;
or (v)
cancel the Contest at any stage.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
The Contest shall be governed by and
construed in
accordance with Indian laws. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Contest and/or
your
participation in the Contest will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of
Ahmedabad, India.
