Captain Gill, Washington Sundar, Prasidh Krishna and Gurnoor Brar are our four Titans, who will be in action in the upcoming three-match ODI series against Afghanistan.
After registering their biggest victory in Test cricket history, the Indian cricket team is all set to host Afghanistan in a three-match ODI series, starting in Dharamshala on Saturday, June 13.
Led by our talismanic captain Shubman Gill, the Men in Blue will head into the white-ball series brimming with confidence after defeating Afghanistan by an innings and 300 runs in the recently concluded one-off Test in New Chandigarh.

Our young left-arm spinner Manav Suthar stole the limelight with his sensational performance on his Test debut. The 23-year-old finished with incredible figures of 6/33 in the first innings to help India bowl out Afghanistan for 152. The hosts later bundled out the visitors for 112 in their second innings after enforcing the follow-on.
Our star all-rounder Washington Sundar picked up four wickets, while Kuldeep Yadav took three wickets in the second innings to wrap up a dominant victory for India. Debutant Suthar and Mohammed Siraj chipped in with one scalp each.
Having claimed seven wickets on his dream debut, Suthar was adjudged the Player of the Match at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium.
Earlier, captain Gill led from the front with a magnificent 126, while KL Rahul also scored 100, along with crucial contributions from our Titan, Sai Sudharsan (81), wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant (81) and Washi (52 not out) as India declared after posting a huge total of 564/8 in their first innings.
Meanwhile, captain Gill, Washi, Prasidh Krishna and Gurnoor Brar are the four Titans who will be in focus in the upcoming three-match ODI series against Afghanistan.

With 2,953 runs in 61 ODIs, Gill will be aiming to become the fastest Indian to amass 3,000 runs in the 50-over format. Former India opener Shikhar Dhawan currently holds the record, having achieved the feat in 72 innings.
Apart from Gill, all eyes will be on India’s batting stalwart, Rohit Sharma, who has been cleared to participate in the ODI series.
Vice-captain Shreyas Iyer, Yashasvi Jaiswal, KL Rahul and Ishan Kishan are the other batting options in India’s star-studded ODI squad.
Washi, Nitish Kumar Reddy and uncapped Harsh Dubey are expected to play crucial roles, both with bat and ball in the forthcoming ODI series.
In the bowling department, Titans’ pace duo of Prasidh and Gurnoor, along with Prince Yadav, Arshdeep Singh and Kuldeep are part of India’s ODI squad.
However, India will miss the services of Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya due to injuries, while bowling spearhead Jasprit Bumrah has been rested due to workload management.
On the other hand, Afghanistan will be led by their captain Hashmatullah Shahidi.
As part of the ODI schedule, the first game will be played at the picturesque Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala.
Both teams will later travel to Lucknow to play the second ODI scheduled at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium on Wednesday, June 17.
The three-match ODI series will conclude at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Saturday, June 20. All three ODIs will start at 1:30 PM IST.
