Following an impressive T20I series win over Afghanistan, the Men in Blue are all set to welcome West Indies for a three-match ODI series on home soil, starting in Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday, September 27.

The second ODI of the home series will take place in Guwahati on September 30, followed by the final One-Day International in New Chandigarh on October 3.

Our Titans sensation and Indian skipper Shubman Gill has been in spectacular form this year, scoring 561 runs in 8 innings at an average of 70.125. The batting maestro also became the fastest Indian to reach 3,000 ODI runs during the ODI series against Afghanistan, further underlining his consistency in the format. Currently ranked No. 1 in the ICC ODI batting rankings, Gill will aim to lead the side from the front and provide the Men in Blue with strong starts. 

Our Titans pace trio of Mohammed Siraj, Gurnoor Brar and Prasidh Krishna will also return to action and will play an important role in India's bowling attack. The trio will look to make an impact with their pace and swing as India aim to keep the West Indies batters in check.

As we gear up for this matchup, veterans Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will also take the field, bringing their wealth of experience and class to the Indian batting line-up. The duo will be keen to continue their purple patch in the ODI format and make their presence felt against the West Indies on the big stage.

The last time India faced the Windies in an ODI series was in 2023, when they outclassed the hosts 2-1 in the three-match series. The Men in Blue will be aiming to continue their dominance over the Caribbeans and take home the series.
