#TitansFam, our “Miyan bhai” has made us proud once again! Our star pacer, Mohammed Siraj, has won the ICC Men’s Player of the Month award for August 2025.

Siraj’s series-defining spell on the final day of the five-match series against England that helped India secure a dramatic six-run victory at The Oval to register a 2-2 series draw has earned him the monthly award.

Our bowling spearhead has triumphed over strong competition, having bagged the coveted award ahead of two other contenders - Matt Henry of New Zealand and Jayden Seals of the West Indies.

Siraj produced a sensational spell on the dramatic final morning of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy, having claimed three crucial wickets to guide India to a memorable victory in London. The 31-year-old ended the match with nine wickets at The Oval, registering figures of 4/86 in the first innings and 5/104 in the second.

Siraj credited his teammates and team staff for helping bring out the best in him.

“It is a special honour to be named ICC Player of the Month. The Anderson–Tendulkar Trophy was a memorable series, and it was one of the most intense contests I have been part of,” Siraj said after winning the award.

“I am proud that I could contribute with some important spells, especially in the decisive moments. Bowling against a top batting line-up in their home conditions was challenging, but it also brought out the best in me.

“This award belongs as much to my teammates and the support staff as it does to me, because their constant encouragement and belief kept me going.

“I will continue to work hard and give my best every time I wear the India jersey," he added.

Meanwhile, Siraj emerged as the leading wicket-taker in the five-match Test series against England with 23 scalps in five games.

Additionally, the Titans' speedster also bowled a whopping 1,113 deliveries, the most by any bowler in the series, which is a true testament to his stamina, belief, hard work and pure passion for Test cricket.
