Following a thumping T20I series victory over Zimbabwe, India will return to red-ball cricket as they take on Sri Lanka in a two-match Test series starting on August 15. The Indian team will tour Sri Lanka, with the first Test set to be played in Galle on August 15 before the action shifts to Colombo for the second Test on August 23.

Skipper Shubman Gill will once again lead the side as he aims to secure another series win as India's captain. As we gear up for the Lankan challenge, six of our Titans will be in focus as part of India's 15-man Test squad. Let's take a look at our Titans who will be in the limelight for the upcoming Test series against Sri Lanka.

Shubman Gill (captain)

Indian skipper Shubman Gill is in spectacular form this year and will head into the Test series against Sri Lanka brimming with confidence. After scoring a magnificent 126 against Afghanistan in the one-off Test, Gill amassed 188 runs in the three-match ODI series against England. He will now look to carry his rich vein of form into the upcoming Test Series and leave his mark in Sri Lanka.

Sai Sudharsan

Sai Sudharsan will return to red-ball cricket against Sri Lanka after displaying an impressive performance in his previous Test outing against Afghanistan, scoring a classy 81 off 104 deliveries. He will play a pivotal role in the top order of the Indian batting unit, and it will be exciting to see him showcase his elegant strokeplay once again.

Mohammed Siraj

Mohammed Siraj will play an integral role in India's bowling attack against Sri Lanka in the two-match Test series. Siraj has been a consistent performer throughout the 2025-27 World Test Championship cycle, claiming 39 wickets in nine Tests. Heading into the series, DSP Siraj will be eager to continue his impressive form and lead India's young pace attack with his experience.

Manav Suthar

Titans’ rising star Manav Suthar stole the limelight on his Test debut for India by winning the Player of the Match award. The 23-year-old all-rounder claimed seven wickets against Afghanistan in the one-off Test and also played a valuable cameo of 28 to help India secure a dominant victory. Suthar will once again be crucial to India's chances against Sri Lanka, with his all-round abilities expected to play a key role in the team's success.

Gurnoor Brar

The 26-year-old Titans speedster has impressed for India in the ODI format since making his international debut against Afghanistan earlier in June. Brar has claimed 11 wickets in six matches at an economy rate of 6.96 and has made a strong case for a Test debut against Sri Lanka. Having showcased his ability to strike at crucial stages of the game, Gurnoor will be determined to make the most of the opportunity if he gets the nod in the red-ball format.

Prasidh Krishna

Skiddy played a key role in India's dominant victory over Afghanistan in the one-off Test in June and will be eager to add to his wicket tally when he returns to action against Sri Lanka. The Titans star has enjoyed a consistent run in India's white-ball setup, claiming 10 wickets in his last five One-Day Internationals, and is likely to feature in the playing XI for the opening Test against Sri Lanka on August 15.
