Conclusion

Even though India couldn't bag a medal on Day 8, the spirits remain high within the contingent with plenty to look forward to on Day 9. 

Shuttler Lakshya Sen and boxer Lovlina Borgohain are one win away from assuring medals for India whereas the men's hockey team will look to overcome Great Britain for a spot in the semi-final.
