After a high-scoring encounter in Jaipur, we will look to return to winning ways against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in our upcoming IPL 2025 clash at our fortress, the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Friday. The GT vs SRH IPL 2025 match will start at 7:30 PM IST.

Led by our captain Shubman Gill, Titans will aim to quickly bounce back after we went down fighting against Rajasthan Royals on Monday.

Despite a defeat against the Royals, we have been one of the most consistent teams in the ongoing IPL.

Having registered six victories in nine matches, we need to win at least two of the remaining five matches to qualify for the IPL 2025 playoffs.

Meanwhile, our Titans will be aiming to complete a season double over the Sunrisers in IPL 2025 after registering a commanding seven-wicket win in the previous meeting in Hyderabad.

Opting to bowl first, our bowling spearhead Mohammed Siraj stole the limelight with a four-wicket haul to help us restrict the Sunrisers to 152/8 in their 20 overs.

Apart from Siraj, Sai Kishore and Prasidh Krishna also chipped in with two scalps apiece.

Later, captain Gill led from the front with an unbeaten 61, along with contributions from Washington Sundar (49) and Sherfane Rutherford (35 not out) to guide us to a comprehensive victory at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.

Meanwhile, Sai Sudharsan will be looking to continue his scintillating form in IPL 2025. Our consistent opening batter has been our leading run-scorer with 456 runs in nine games at an average of 50.67 and a strike rate of 150.

Jos Buttler (406 runs) and skipper Gill (389 runs) have been our other standout batters in the ongoing T20 tournament.

In fact, Gill has a brilliant record against SRH in the IPL. Our talismanic skipper has scored 459 runs in 14 games versus the Sunrisers, including three fifties and one century. Since 2020, Gill has the second-best average (57.90) for any batter against SRH in the IPL.

In the bowling department, Prasidh ‘Skiddy’ Krishna is currently placed second in the Purple Cap race with 17 wickets in nine matches at an average of 16.05 and an economy of 7.80.

Kishore and Siraj have also been amongst the wickets with 12 scalps each.

Our speedster Siraj also has an impressive record against SRH in the IPL with 13 wickets in 12 games at an economy of 6.92.
