They say, ‘What we do doesn’t define who we are. What defines us is how well we rise after falling…’ It’s this spirit that we will carry into our next TATA IPL 2024 match when we take on Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the Garden City of India on Saturday (May 4).

Results notwithstanding, there’s no doubting the commitment, hunger, and effort our Titans have put in so far. Be it the narrow loss by four runs to Delhi Capitals or the one against RCB where we scored 200 batting first, our Titans put their best on the line for the team. With just four more matches to go in the league phase this season, there is no doubt that our boys will continue to fight it out till the end as we chase a place in the TATA IPL Playoff.

Team Talk - It’s Sai Su’s world…

He has always preferred to let his bat do most of the talking. And things have been the same in TATA IPL 2024. Continuing his fine form in the league, Sai Sudharsan has been our reliable man at the top of the order. With 418 runs in 10 innings, he’s not only our highest run-getter this season, but also third on the Orange Cap list.

His unbeaten 84 against RCB in the previous match was a testament to his temperament as well. Coming in to bat in the second over, Sai Su stuck around till the end to anchor the innings in the company of Shahrukh Khan and David Miller. He often punished the bowler with his gorgeous stroke play and some hard-hitting shots that sailed over the fence. Scoring at a quick pace, our Titan from the South never allowed the bowlers to settle and kept the scoreboard ticking.

Heading to Chinnaswamy stadium to face the same opposition on Saturday, Sai Su will look to build on his run of form as we aim to get back to winning ways in TATA IPL 2024.

#RCBvGT- Batters’ Paradise

Matches against the Royal Challengers have always been about runs. And things were no different when we took on RCB a few days ago at the Home of the Gujarat Titans.

Put in to bat, we ensured that we gave the visitors a daunting target to chase. With similar intentions on our minds and the firepower in our lineup to match that, we will be counting on our Titans to continue in the same vein when we walk out onto the pitch at the M Chinnaswamy stadium, a ground known for big scores.

Head-to-Head

Played - 4

Won - 2

Lost - 2

It’s a venue that gives us good vibes. The last time we played RCB at the Chinnaswamy, our skipper Shubman Gill came up with a brilliant unbeaten century to chase down 197. Captain Gill will hope to rekindle that old memory and lead us to a win.
