Picture this: the sun sets over a packed stadium, and out strides a young, calm, and determined left-hander from Tamil Nadu. From his first strike to his last boundary, the crowd roars, and we all knew this was just the beginning.

Fast forward three years, and here we are, retaining Sai Sudharsan for TATA IPL 2025! Since joining Gujarat Titans in 2022, Sai has become a vital part of our batting lineup and a fan favorite. He’s not just a talented player but a crucial asset for the upcoming season.

 

Sai’s rise is a testament to his dedication. From his top-scoring performances in the 2021 TNPL to securing his place in Tamil Nadu’s squad and making his IPL debut, his journey has been nothing short of inspiring.

 In his first season, he impressed us all with scores that revealed his potential. A memorable 65* against Punjab Kings was just the start, and each knock he played was a step closer to solidifying his place in our squad.

 

Sai’s impact was clear by IPL 2023, where he went on to score 362 runs over eight games. In that season’s final against Chennai Super Kings, he gave us a thrilling 96 that still echoes in our minds, even though we narrowly missed the win.

The story continued with his international debut for India, where he scored back-to-back fifties against South Africa. In IPL 2024, he delivered his best season yet, amassing 527 runs at an average of 47.9, including a maiden century against Chennai Super Kings, showcasing his consistent and explosive batting.

 Recently, Sai’s century for India A against Australia A reinforced his potential as an international star. Looking ahead to 2025, we’re excited to see him continue to push boundaries and light up the stage.
